Syria governor thanks Iran org for helping Syrian kids

The governor of Syrian province of Aleppo has commended the Iranian Owj Arts and Media Organization for the services it has provided to the war-hit Syrian children.

Hussein Ahmad Diab expressed gratitude to the Iran-based Owj organization, which is a revolutionary art and cinema production NGO, for all the acts of kindness they have performed to entertain and educate the Syrian kids.

The organization’s productions vary from huge city murals and billboards, to short animations, documentaries and feature films. It also holds festivals such as Down With USA Great Award and the International Holocaust Cartoon Competition.

The media organization is known as a cultural resistance organization by the people in the Middle East region, and targets the global hegemony’s hypocrisy, by making productions that depict the hidden side of reality and the truth behind the stage of western media propaganda in the form of cultural products, such as films, documentaries and so on.

The Syrian governor made the remarks on the sidelines of a street festival titled the Grand Festival of Bright Nights held by Owj in Aleppo.

In a brief speech, he said that Iran was a good friend during the Syrian war and is also a good companion after the war.

The Owj Arts and Media Organization has established a cultural center for children in Aleppo, organizing poetry and storytelling festivals and other cultural events.
